Who we are
Raiment ("we," "us," "our") operates a website that helps users compare clothing and accessory prices across multiple third-party online stores, and (from Phase 2) connects users with independent clothing designers.
What Raiment is — and isn't
Raiment is a comparison and discovery service. We are not the seller, manufacturer, or merchant of record for any clothing or accessory shown on the site. All purchases are completed directly with the third-party store you're redirected to. That store's own terms, returns policy, and pricing apply once you leave Raiment.
We make reasonable efforts to keep listed prices, shipping costs, and availability accurate, but they are curated/aggregated from third-party sources and may not reflect real-time pricing. Always confirm final price and shipping on the retailer's own site before purchasing.
Using Raiment
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to create an account. You agree not to misuse the site: no scraping, no attempting to disrupt the service, no submitting false or misleading information. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Age restriction
Raiment is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent/guardian where applicable under South African law, to create an account.
Designer marketplace
Designers listed on Raiment are independent third parties, not Raiment employees or agents. Raiment does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any custom design work, appointment, or project. Any agreement, pricing, or dispute regarding a custom design or appointment is between you and the designer directly.
Intellectual property
Raiment's branding, design, and platform content are our property. Product images and descriptions belong to the respective third-party stores.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Raiment is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate third-party pricing or availability, issues with a purchase made on a third-party store, or the quality/outcome of designer work arranged through the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Raiment after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
